WOLF To Add New England Distribution Center, Expand Mid-Atlantic Capacity

WOLF, the largest supplier of kitchen cabinets in the U.S. and a leading provider of composite and PVC decking, railing, trim and other building products, today announced the next major  steps in its  aggressive expansion program.

By early 2013, WOLF plans to open a New England distribution center, move its Building Products Division to a facility with greater capacity, and establish a new cross-dock facility in the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania.

The announcement comes on the heels of WOLF’s opening of a major distribution center in Lawrenceville, Ga., in 2009, and smaller facilities in High Point, N.C., and Florence, S.C., earlier this year.

WOLF will establish its new distribution center for the New England market at a yet-to-be-determined location in the Massachusetts/Connecticut area. The center will deliver both kitchen and bath and building products to WOLF’s growing number of customers throughout the region.

New product introductions in 2013 are expected to fuel significant sales increases, requiring closer proximity of a WOLF distribution hub to key northeastern markets.

WOLF also announced that, before the end of 2010, the company will move its building products distribution center from its current location in Allentown, Pa., to the Reload Center, a WOLF-owned property in York, Pa. The Reload Center offers 13 acres of outdoor storage space, more than twice the capacity at Allentown,  and also offers a rail siding and other logistical advantages.

In the coming months, WOLF will also open a new cross-dock and customer service center in the Lehigh Valley, which will enable the company to service existing customers in New Jersey and New York and to manage growth in that area.

WOLF anticipates the addition of up to 20 new jobs as a result of these changes.

A growing number of dealers will have access to WOLF’s wide range of building materials and kitchen and bath products.  Dealers can find a full list of products at www.wolfleader.com.

In addition to a wide range of category-leading products, WOLF offers dealers guaranteed delivery and significant promotional and merchandising support. WOLF also provides online services including product ordering, account management and more.
